Hot dog or hot car?

This just in from a stringer at the Joliet City Desk:

JOLIET -- Frankfurter fans may argue, but it's not a crime to put ketchup on a hot dog.

Squirting mustard on somebody else's car will get you charged with disorderly conduct, though. On Jan. 8, a police officer was called to the 5200 block of Ashwood Drive after a woman looked outside and reportedly saw a 14-year-old boy covering the back window of her white Grand Prix with the condiment. The victim was able to provide police with the teen's identity and he was given a misdemeanor citation.
