Lynn Sweet of the Sun-Times reports on a perfectly insufferable conversation she had with Roland Burris where he talks about how he's gonna arrive in DC and be welcomed with open arms. The man is as oblivious to being a political pawn as he is to grammar rules.
Note to Roland Burris: You haven't been confirmed for ANYTHING yet and referring to yourself in the plural third person will endear you to NO ONE. Enjoy your trip to DC - don't get comfortable. I hear the Smithsonian is a great way to kill several hours. Take the extra time to learn how to work a cell phone.
