My favorite local radio station, WXRT, played this a couple weeks ago when I was on my way to work and it was so cool I had to look for it for NCD. R.E.M. live from 1995 doing 'Me In Honey.' Mike Mills is doing a pretty good job substituting for Kate Pierson... Stipe is working the bald head and the blue makeup.

Friday night fun - EARLY R.E.M.
This is so cool - we're kicking off the festivities tonight with a treasure. R.E.M. making their national television debut on Late Night with David Letterman in 1983. The song is 'Radio Free Europe' from their debut album 'Murmur.' Called it one of the best albums of 1983, I call it one of the best albums EVER. (Stipe has so much hair!!!)
